The love of your family is the first love you experience. It’s your soft place to fall and you know they love you unconditionally. I’ve photographed this family several times and really enjoy seeing their family grow. You can see the love they have for one another and it’s evident that these kids are LOVED! There’s nothing like the wonder of carrying a child. Wondering what they will look like, the sounds of their cooing, how you’ll feel the very first time you hold them in your arms. There are so many wonderful firsts you’ll get to experience so enjoy every since moment of it. It’s magical and nothing like it!!! I’ve had a few maternity sessions lately. Lots of love here in San Diego. It’s a great place to get out in the sun, enjoy the outdoors and raise kids. So much to do!!! Even though this day started out gloomy, we were still able to capture this magical moment for mommy to be. Thanks for allowing me to share part of your day and capture this part in your pregnancy. Might I just say how glowing and happy you look. Enjoy the rest of the pregnancy and can’t wait to meet the newest cowgirl in town : )

“Making the decision to have a child is momentous. It is to decide forever to have your heart go walking around outside your body.” -Elizabeth Stone. While looking at these images and spending time with this family, I immediately thought of this quote and how fitting it was for this family. Watching them interact with each other and seeing the love between them was like watching their heart outside their body. Congrats on the addition of Baby K!!!

I know I’ve probably said it before, but there is nothing more beautiful than a pregnant momma. The glow, excitement and love that exudes from a woman is just magical. So fortunate to have been able to meet with mom and dad yesterday morning and capture this time in their lives. I was even pleasantly surprised with a new location with several possibilities that I didn’t even think of. Love meeting new people, sharing ideas, capturing the moment and added bonus….finding a new usable spot ; ) I was one happy camper. Enjoy the last month of the pregnancy and looking forward to meeting her soon!
