There's nothing like the beginning of a new family. I love watching new parents with their newborn, especially their firstborn. They are SOOOO in love and it's just an amazing time in their lives. I will always have a special bond with little "A" since she was born on my birthday. Enjoy parenthood and your sneak peek.
 
This family wanted a beach session because they are originally from Canada and wanted a Socal feel to their session and what better way to do that then to head to the beach. While most of the country is cold and some are even snowed in, we are enjoying fairly nice weather. Thanks for letting me capture your family and enjoy your sneak peek.

I celebrated another birthday yesterday and as the year pass, I've come to realize how much I appreciate the little things in life. Like my kids picking out charms that remind me of them to add to my bracelet. Or the thoughtfulness of my basketball team bringing me cupcakes and flowers, and my husband having dinner made (ok, he bought it) when I got home from practice, or my friends who went to the effort of getting an unforgettable cake for me. I have so many incredible people in my life and feel blessed that so many people thought of me!!! On a side not….if you know me, you know that I'm an Apple girl. Always have been….always will be. I have NEVER owed a PC and have had apple computers for 20 years. I know what you're thinking. I'm not old enough to have had a computer for that long right. Well, it's true. I love my Apple gear and have always told my husband, I'm not a diamond kind of girl….but get me an Apple and I'm happy : ) So here's a picture of the cake that my friends (thanks Kamice and Kristen) were thoughtful to put together for me. Notice the apps on it. Some of my FAV apps….they know me so well : )

To have a child is to be blessed for a lifetime. There is no truer love than the love for a child. I am constantly amazed and fortunate to be able to capture these moments for families. This family just introduced their baby girl "B" to the world. She was wide awake and alert and we were able to get some shots of her with her eyes open. She promptly cooperated and then allowed me to capture her while she was sleeping as well. Needless to say it was a PERFECT session! Ok….this session was a Happy Belated Birthday session with 5 middle school girls. Yes….I said middle school girls. They may not look like it but believe me….they are. I don't remember middle school girls looking this cute or having such fashion sense. I know I didn't and my sense of fashion DID NOT exist at this age. Loved spending time with these girls and seeing their personalities come through. Can't wait to go through the rest of the images.
